Parmesan crisps
A recipe for Parmesan crisps – an easy to make crowd pleaser that takes no more than 30 minutes to prepare!
Moroccan Vegetable Tagine
This recipe uses chickpeas and potatoes instead of meat, and is a great alternative to my recipe for Moroccan Lamb Tagine. It’s not too hot and has a really deep and mellow spiced and slightly sweet flavour. Very tasty and ideal for preparing in advance.
Guacamole
My local greengrocer was selling some very ripe avocados so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to make my delicious guacamole.
It takes about 2 minutes to make and is perfect to have as a little snack or as an appetiser. You’ll just need to cut up some peppers, carrots or cucumber to dip in it! The yoghurt I’m using in this recipe is from the Total Fage (pronounced fa-yeh) range. It’s very creamy so is perfect to mix with my super-ripe avocado!
Moroccan Lamb Tagine
There’s not many things better than a Moroccan lamb tagine – deep spicy flavour, with melt in mouth lamb and a rich thick sauce.
Chicken in a sweet red pepper sauce
This oriental dish, has a lovely sweet flavour, which goes very well with the chicken and ginger. Enjoy with rice.
Cheese sticks
Great for party nibbles! Now you have the recipe, there’s no need to buy them from the shop. They’re so easy to make, and add your own ingredients to.
Dips
Sometimes nibbles offered before a meal dampen the appetite and add inches to the waist. Gabby’s combined nibbles and hors d’oeuvres, and offered a healthier start to entertaining.
Chilli con carne
Spicy chilli with a nice deep flavour. Enjoy with or wraps and guacamole. Even better, have it in a jacket potato the day after.
Sweet and spicy quinoa salad
This is so filling and yummy, you can have it either warm or cold, depending on the crazy English weather!
