Love tea? Then you’ll Løv this

As recent converts to green tea and fans of all things Scandinavian, we were really happy to find a super stylish tea company inspired by Scandinavian culture – Løv tea. Løv, in this instance, is Danish for leaf, and sells organic tea and some rather lovely teapots, like this curvaceous egg-yellow number. How cheerful is that?

I’ve been trying out their taster pack of teas all week, including Løv is Zen, a relaxing herbal tea, Løv is Good, an aniseedy tea, Løv is Pure, a detox tea and a Green Rooibos tea. The packaging is lovely – larger orders come in a sleek trendy tin – and the teabags have a handmade look, made from muslin. I do really like the herbal varieties, particularly the aniseedy one which reminds me of herbal teas in France, but I think I need more practise with rooibos to really like it.

This year for Easter they have brought out an organic Chocolate-Vanilla tea. It’s black china tea flavoured with cocoa shells and natural vanilla, in a tin inspired by vintage coffee tins. Sounds like a lovely present for a tea drinking friend – or anyone wanting to enjoy chocolate without the calories – this easter.
