Toasted Bagel with Ham & Scrambled Egg
This recipe is a savoury weekend treat that uses one of my favourite flavour combos, ham, egg and cheese. As with most things in England, best enjoyed with a cup of tea!

The crunchy outside and chewy middle of a New York Bakery toasted bagel, topped with ham and cheesy scrambled eggs makes a very tasty and filling brunch.
Ingredients
- 5-6 eggs
- knob of butter
- 50g strong cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 Plain bagels
- 4 slices ham
- Parsley
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
- Place a non stick pan on a medium-low heat and add the butter. Once melted pour in the eggs and keep stirring.
- When the egg begins to scramble turn the heat right down and add the cheese. Continue to stir while toasting the bagels.
- Once your eggs are how you like them, top the bagels with ham, then spoon on the egg and sprinkle with parsley. Serve.
