Toasted Bagel with Ham & Scrambled Egg
This recipe is a savoury weekend treat that uses one of my favourite flavour combos, ham, egg and cheese. As with most things in England, best enjoyed with a cup of tea!

- 5-6 eggs
- knob of butter
- 50g strong cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 Plain bagels
- 4 slices ham
- Salt and Pepper
Whisk the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
Place a non stick pan on a medium-low heat and add the butter. Once melted pour in the eggs and keep stirring.
When the egg begins to scramble turn the heat right down and add the cheese. Continue to stir while toasting the bagels.
Once your eggs are how you like them, top the bagels with ham, then spoon on the egg and sprinkle with parsley. Serve.
