The innocent Hungry Grassy Van tour

innocent_hgv

On the 9th of September 2011 innocent are setting off on a road trip around the UK to offer people a tasty way to get their 5-a-day. The innocent HGV will be serving up a delish selection of healthy takeaway options from their newly launched recipe book Hungry?

The van will travel across the country, kicking off in London then on to Bristol, Manchester and Glasgow with stop offs along the way. Their mission is to serve thousands of people their 5-a-day for just £5.

Swapping fast food stalples such as curries and burgers for healthier options such as veggie burgers, squash and tomato curry and lamb kofte pittas, diners will be able to sample recipes from the new book and learn how easy it is to cook healthy, tasty food.

Dishes will cost between £2 and £3 and will all count towards your 5-a-day. There will also be a special £5 meal deal every day.

Decked out in bunting and fairy lights, the innocent HGV will stop in each city for 3 days, parking up at locations where healthy, tasty food is most needed. From football grounds and building sites to parks, high streets and schools. There will also be the chance for people to win their very own visit from the innocent HGV!
