Warning: may contain nuts

It’s National Nut Day today and we thought we’d draw your attention to our favourite nutty comedian. Not only has Harry Hill got the same name as Matt (he’s really called Matthew Hall too) but he also makes us crack up as the host of our favourite guilty pleasure, You’ve Been Framed and he’s got his own brand of nuts.
Harry’s Nuts are tasty, as you might have guessed, and they’ve also got an interesting story behind them. Made by the UK’s only 100% Fairtrade nut company, profits go to the network of farming co-operatives in Africa, India and South America where the farmers’ and growers’ welfare is a high concern. (No profits go to the big collared-comedian though – he’s the face of the brand and keen to promote the Fairtrade initiative. And apparently he loves nuts too!)
We particularly like the Salted Cashew Nuts, which are so moreish you could eat 10 packets of them – also nuts are rich in Omega 3 oils, high in protein and have been proven to reduce the risk of heart disease, and with this brand, you’re not only doing yourself a favour, you’re giving something back too.
You can find Harry’s Nuts in the beer, wine and spirits aisles of nearly 800 Tesco stores, including Metro, Extras and Superstores. They’re also on sale in around 300 Sainsbury’s and all Waitrose stores, in the nuts and snacks sections.
